This year, we are proud to organize the Workshop on Architectures of Smart Cameras (WASC) 2020 on Dec.14-Dec.16. WASC is dedicated to all aspects of embedded vision systems, smart camera networks, smart imagers and vision chips. The purpose of this workshop is to create a place to share experiences and concerns while presenting the latest advances and work in progress. The setup is rather informal in order to foster discussions and promote collaboration between researchers from complementary disciplines.

This year WASC is co-organized by the Achieve EU consortium, which focuses on highly integrated hardware-software components for ultra-efficient embedded vision systems as the basis for innovative distributed vision applications.

Due to COVID'19 measures, this year's event will be an online event. Registration is free but mandatory (deadline Dec. 11 2020). To give a talk, please submit a 500 word abstract by Dec. 6 2020, on the WASC'20 website (https://quasar.ugent.be/wasc2020) by registering for the event.
